Hopping to Hoboken

The ferry ride across the Hudson River to Hoboken was quite beautiful.

Isabella sliding around with friend Penelope.

My Pod

We are training her how to use a Mac already. This is her at the Apple Store recently. They have a kids sections with lots of kiddie games. She was pretty happy to "Mac handle" their computers since we don't let her touch ours.

In utero her codename was "MyPod".

Goofy Girl

Isabella's expressions have been so fun lately. Silly, happy, goofy, sad, frustrated all go extreme on her little face. I wish I could capture them all but for now just some happy, goofy smiles.

Daddy's Girl

Isabella has always loved playing with her daddy but lately she is becoming quite attached. In the mornings when Brian is ready to go to work he stands next to the door as we give kisses and say our goodbyes. For the last two weeks every morning Isabella will give Brian a hug and not let go. She use to always come back into my arms but now there is no letting go of Daddy. Some mornings we'll walk with Brian to work which Isabella LOVES to do.

In the evenings when Brian comes home he will ring the buzzer for the outside door so I can let him in. When that buzzer buzzes Isabella quivers with excitement and jumps into my arms. I buzz Brian in and then Isabella and I go out of our apartment and watch the stairs as Brian ascends. Isabella smiles and squeals with delight. She then takes him by the hand and walks around the apartment; back and forth, back and forth. Brian grabs a bite or two of dinner from the kitchen counter as he passes; back and forth.

first steps

Visitors

Angela & Sabrina stayed with us for a couple of days and were able to be in the city for Isabella's birthday. It was VERY humid.

Brooks came on business with T-Mobile and Sophie came along. We had a lot of fun and they really wore me out!

The Real Deal

After a few trials with various blogs to keep you posted on Isabella's adventures I'm finally creating a blogger blog to regularly update (hopefully). Tomorrow is her 13 month birthday. Instead of trying to post a years worth of photos right now I will just post some photos from the last couple of months.
