I have loved having a blog just for Isabella, but it was getting difficult to seperate her adventures from my own, so I've decided to combine all three of my blogs (I know, crazy) into one. I will be using labels to help ease browsing...if all you want to see is our gorgeous daughter.

Tree Eater

She loves her broccoli...most of the time. Here she is helping me "wash" it for dinner.

Bronx Zoo

Photos of our trip to the Bronx Zoo while my mom was visiting. Isabella had a really good time. See more adventures at the zoo here.

Isabella really wanted to hold the ladybug, but we decided to let it live.

Yes, there is glass between the snake and the baby.

Isabella thinks animals should be seen, not touched.

What a sweet little lady.

I heart pasta

Isabella loves pasta (aka "asta" with her little hands swirling to make the sign). It's my "go to" food when she won't anything else. She'll even eat whole wheat pasta, yeehaa.

Playing in Chelsea

Yesterday we went down to Chelsea to the art galleries. After they closed we headed to the nearby playground for Isabella to get some time doing the things she loves to do.

Weekend in CT

Please excuse my horribly clashed outfit and focus on the adorable baby.

Roman, Heather & Devon

Can you see her lips covered in black raspberry ice cream?

She never actually touched an animal that day, but forced me to.

She still says, "maaaa" when she sees a horse, instead of "neigh".

I've been so busy the last few weeks I forgot to post about our wonderful weekend in Connecticut over two weeks ago. While we were there, enjoying the most fantastic weather, we went for a brief hike in the state forest near the Carini Homestead. After our hike we headed to get some yummy homemade ice cream from Robb's Farm. We enjoyed licking our sweet, creamy cones and being entertained by the silly farm animals.

Riverside Park

Isabella enjoying a beautiful day at Riverside Park.

I come in peace...

Isabella loving her balloon. "Ballooo" is one of her first words; along with Mommy, Daddy and ball, of course.

Fun Weekend Photos

I LOVE this photo!

Puddling Around

I never got to finish all my posts on Saturday...It was such a beautiful morning; a bit brisk but very lovely. It had rained a lot during the week so the puddles in Central Park were fantastic. This was Isabella's first experience in puddle playing. As I watched her running through the puddles I tried to remember what it felt like to have water slushing around in my shoes. She seemed more contemplative than ecstatic over the experience.

She loves her sunglasses. Although she seems to like wearing them more inside rather than out.

Cookie Monster

I'm realizing it is quite impossible to do anything with a toddler around. But I've also been learning that she really likes to help me do things. So with a lot of patience, creativity and redirection we have been working together to make our home wonderful. Here Isabella is helping me make Brian's favorite cookies, oatmeal chocolate chip. Even though we are done with all the measuring and mixing she is signing "more". We'll have to do it again soon, because I really had a great time too.

Pushing Daisies

Enjoying the beautiful daisies Daddy brought home..

Easter Bunny

Isabella loved playing with the bunny. It was so soft and gentle!

Easter Egg Hunt

After the hunt, trying to get the kids to pose together.
Isabella was going to have none of it (aka nap time).

Look at all that loot! Thanks Heather!

Oh Chocolate Bunny! I love you so!

Enjoying the goods

A Perfect Moment

There is nothing quite as sweet as that moment when her whole body relaxes, she sighs and rests.

Gangsta Bella

Watch out a new boss is in town! Isabella loves to wear her daddy's hat and be chauffeured in a little push toy.

Orchid Show

The Orchid Show is going on at the New York Botanical Gardens right now. One Sunday afternoon we went to enjoy the warmth and greenery of the conservatory. I was looking forward to a peaceful, relaxing environment while gazing at the intricate orchids. Instead we encountered masses of people looking to do the same. We felt like cattle being herded through a tropical world. Although it was beautiful and warm, the closterphobic amount of bodies made it impossible to fully enjoy.
