Isabella insisted on eating lunch with a measuring spoon today. It was tricky and more rice ended up on her lap than in her mouth I'm sure.

Roman Honey Bear

I asked him to smile and this is what I got. His "real" smile is gorgeous.

Last weekend we went to visit the Carini's in Connecticut. This is Isabella with her cousin, Roman. He wanted to dress up in the Pooh costume (Winnie the Pooh as a honey bee). Later that day we all went out shopping...Roman still as Pooh. I couldn't stop laughing. He's such a funny kid.

Warm Winter Day

A couple of weeks ago we had a few nice, warm days. Isabella and I spent a lot of time in the park.

Chilren's Museum of Manhattan

With all this fridged, windy weather we frequently visit the Children's Museum of Manhattan on the UWS. Brian has a corporate membership through work so we just go for about an hour until Isabella is done and then leave. There are so many cute, fun things Isabella enjoys there but getting photos are tricky...there are so many kids and she is always on the move!

Finger Painting

I've been looking for more activities that Isabella can do inside and I hesitated with the finger paints because I thought she was still to young. But one evening I was desperate and wanted to give them a try. She did really well, loved when I put more paint on the paper for her to spread, and was curious how it squished in her hands.

Morro Bay

I LOVE the beach! When we were visiting Brian's grandparents in San Luis Obispo we took some time to go to Morro Bay. The weather was fantastic! (I understand it is always beautiful in SLO.)

Cousins at Christmas

Here are a few photos of Isabella's cousins during our Christmas visit to California. She really loved them. She gave Silas tons of hugs and kisses and completely won him over. Mary and Emma would chase her all around which is one of her favorite games. And Gillian and Isabella would pass toys back and forth--sharing so nicely--at least for the first couple of days.
