Orchid Show

The Orchid Show is going on at the New York Botanical Gardens right now. One Sunday afternoon we went to enjoy the warmth and greenery of the conservatory. I was looking forward to a peaceful, relaxing environment while gazing at the intricate orchids. Instead we encountered masses of people looking to do the same. We felt like cattle being herded through a tropical world. Although it was beautiful and warm, the closterphobic amount of bodies made it impossible to fully enjoy.
